Thank goodness Sarah Jessica Parker redeemed herself! I love SATC and I always enjoyed Carrie's quirky style, but there really was no need for Sarah Jessica to play Carrie in real life. (did you see that hat?!)
Anyway, she looked beautiful in Versace for the Berlin premiere. Good choice SJP!
I love, love, love Angelina Jolie's dress that she wore to the Cannes Film Festival. How in the world does she look so good when she is pregnant with twins?! I love the color, love the cut, and really wish that I could find this dress for my non-pregnant self. I am going to have to do some research!
I recently picked up a scarf dress made by Rubber Ducky Clothing at a great boutique down the street from where I work called Havilah. I have absolutely no idea where I am going to wear it, but the colors were beautiful and it fit well. It made me think of summer and the beach. Those factors alone were enough but the fact that it was on sale made it a done deal for me.

So a friend of my mom's friend or something all those lines has a website that is wonderful! She started her business selling dresses and accessories on Ebay and turned it into a website & showroom in New York. Edressme.com has lots of great features... first they have hundreds of different styles of dresses from minis to prom/wedding. The selection is excellent and wide-ranging from Betsey Johnson to Nicole Miller.
You can search for dresses by type, size, or designer and she also sells coats and accessories. You can check out the latest trends or pre-order their upcoming styles. At the bottom of the site they offer a "Shape Guide" that describes different body shapes and suggests dress silhouettes that would best fit the type.
The site also features a favorite section of mine the "Dresses under $99" tab. So helpful especially since we are not always on an unlimited budget. I would love to stop into their showroom in New York and see their in-stock selection...but for now I can handle some online shopping!
I have a wedding next weekend and have no idea what to what to wear. March is such a horrible month to choose clothing. It will inevitably be cold outside, but that is nothing a nice sweater or jacket cannot fix. Here are some options I am contemplating... I am really trying to pretend it's really spring already without looking like I am forcing summer or something...
The first dress is a Nicole Miller Stretch Sheath dress. I don't know if I would do the black or if I would choose another color. Black is perfectly acceptable at a night wedding, but this is 3:30 wedding in a rural area... the second dress is also a Nicole Miller...it's the priciest of the three ($485) but I really love the design and the beautiful yellow color. So springy and fun! I also love the gold detailing...it would be very fun to find accessories. The last one is a classic dress from Banana Republic. I could wear this one a lot more than the other two especially since it can be dressed up or dressed down with the right shoes & bag. Decisions, decisions...
